Wayfinding Academy is on a mission to redefine higher education. Rather than choose a rigid major from a list while taking on massive debt, they help students explore their potential, their communities, and their place in the world.
Because of their unique approach, they needed something that would clearly communicate their vision, attract new students, and get the community and donors excited.
It's the kind of client -- and challenge -- we love.
Medicine Show worked closely with Wayfinding's founder and president, Michelle Jones, Ph.D., to understand the philosophy behind the curriculum. Then we met with students, auditing classes, observing projects, asking about their personal goals and experiences. (And drafting them for talent, of course.)
Based on those conversations, we developed a concept, storyboards and a script. The pros at Duck Up Productions helped make it happen -- with director Joe Hill contributing bottomless energy and fresh ideas that brought everything into focus.
Along the way, we made a lot of friends and couldn't help but be inspired. We hope you will be, too.
*A special thanks to Angela Owusu-Ansah for the terrific voice work, and Brian Belefant for his support.
