In 2017, TEDxMtHood asked Medicine Show to manage video production for the event. Naturally we jumped at the chance. After all, TEDx is a powerful brand that champions something we love — smart ideas.
TEDx also has strict guidelines, to protect that brand and to give viewers an optimum experience. Video capture is handled like a live broadcast, with all the quick-thinking coverage that entails. And the final edits have to hit all the right beats.
David Jordan led our video crew, directing three HD cameras, a roving camera and as many operators.
The theme? 'Alchemy.' The speakers gave us plenty think about — race, identity, community, innovation, exploration and more. The performers brought artistry and energy.
